Casa do Lado is a Bed & Breakfast managed by a family from Vila Nova de Milfontes. This experience consists of staying in this accommodation together with the enjoyment of two activities provided by the family itself.
Mariana cooks the surprise dinner with local and seasonal products and Paula provides a walk on the coast. Dinners are served in the Casa do Lado courtyard, where tranquility reigns. Evenings to take it easy, enjoy good food accompanied by good wine.
Dinner is dictated by the freshest and most enticing Mariana found in the area, national, seasonal and fresh ingredients. Surprise menu consisting of a snack, a main course and a dessert. It also includes a basket of homemade bread, olive oil and water.

There is the possibility of combining the activities, in the following order:

Guided walking with a biologist, with a distance of approximately 5km, on one of the routes in the surroundings where surprises of fauna and flora are constant – next to Praia do Malhão it is possible to see traces of Elephas antiquos, which was the extinct European elephant, meanwhile extinct . This walking activity is adjusted to the physical capacity of the participants.

On the return to Casa do Lado, there will be dinner whose fresh ingredients arrived directly at the door or were chosen at the local market in the early hours. The variety of the menu results from the creativity of Mariana who will select the best pieces for the most delicious of meals.

The next morning, the tasting of traditional flavors continues with breakfast coming from bread, jams, fresh fruit juices and the fresh air of the morning breeze.
